    Join us, on the 17th of May, as we continue onwards in our exploration of the Techno universe, at The Cellar Bar, Galway. We have a very special treat organised for this instalment, Welfare will be coming down to play a few tracks for us, known for his Jungle, Footwork and Bass music it is rare that he would be found playing a Techno set, so we appreciate him stepping up to play. After listening through one of his Techno mixes there was no doubt that we wanted him to come play, featured in it were some great UK Techno producers such as Boddika, Addison Groove and Perc, all of whom would be heavily influenced by/involved in the Bass scene too, really looking forward to his set. For an extra special treat we will be finishing up with Welfare and our residents going head to head with each other in an epic b2b2b battle of intensity, firing tunes into the crowd one shot at a time, the roof is going to get lifted!

    On opening duties we have our residents, Gav C. and Jasper playing b2b to warm you all up for the crazy ride which is going to ensue.

    We will have our bespoke beast of a house rig in attendance, with visuals provided by Qpopvr (4theye) and futuristic lighting to keep your eyes entertained.

    Doors are at 10pm and entry is 5 euro, but as another wee treat (we're full of them today) we will be letting the first 30 people in through the doors completely free so get there early if you want to save the 5er. We will also be running a like and share guestlist competition, details to be announced nearer the time.

    Welfare is an Irish electronic music DJ/Producer/Promoter/Sound System Operator currently based in Galway
    Welfare's gigged all over Ireland, the UK, U.S, Canada and on continental Europe.
    He's played alongside an impressive wave of talent such as Orbital, Pinch, Loefah, DJ Hype, Krome and Time, Remarc, Doc Scott, dBridge, Hatcha, Scuba, Distance, Boxcutter, Youngsta, Fracture, Sam binga, MRK1, RSD, Blawan. Radikal Guru and many, many more...
    He has been producing various electronic styles for about 3 years with releases on !Kaboogie Records and Ghetto Quietly and has remixed such accomplished domestic acts as Lakker, Prince Kong and prduced bootlegs of DnB artists such as Commix.
