Canvas/Leather satchel/bag

Hey guys, was just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of where to look for a satchel type bag that could last a really long time. Either online or on the high street are both good. Would like to have a look at a few in person but I don't really know where to go, Debenham's selection is okay, not too keen on TK Maxx's.
There's loads of cheapish ones on eBay from China but I've absolutely no clue what the quality's like.

Would it be better to just get a canvas one than entering the world or pleather where I'd have no real clue how much it can endure or how well it'll age.

I'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount (well... ~70 euro) for a really good one.

marks and spencers have a good range, I bought one from them 3-4 years ago and its still like new. it was about 50 euro at the time.

I bought both of these bags in 2011 on reviews from amazon. They have been dragged back & forth from college with all sorts and still look like new.

Highly recommend both - not sure if it's what you need though.
