Hi I am looking for help and advice on starting up a one man band in terms of equipment etc. I am on a fairly tight budget and just wondering what the best way to go about it would be. I be extremely grateful for any help and advice as I am looking to get started before the summer kicks in. I also play acoustic guitar and have a pick up on my guitar.

Maybe something like the Yamaha Stagepass or Fender Passport.
Sorry, can't post links because I'm a new user (!?)
There's variations of both worth having a look at. One of those, an SM58 with a stand should do the trick.

Thank you so much for your reply as I am completely clueless where to start. Would that be the average price for set up? as in between 700-1000

Hi OP, it would be worth doing a search on Boards, looks like there is some (more) good advice available. For example:

Let us know what you get in the end :).

Am I the only one who thought this after reading the original post? Really?
