Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where are you flying in/out of?

We were in Split, down to Brac then Hvar, back to Split, bus to Makarska and then down to Dubrovnik, didnt suit us to do the southern islands but apparently theyre great too.

We're planning a 10 day trip for September, and are thinking of the following:

    - Fly into Zadar on the Tuesday.
    - Tues - Friday: Split
    - Friday to Sunday: Hvar
    - Sunday Night: Mostar
    - Monday to Thursday: Dubrovnik
    - Thursday: Travel back up to Zadar and fly home early Friday morning.

We're looking at renting a car for the 10 days though, so this will obviously have an impact on your plan if you're not.

OH and I went in August before and did it this way:

    Dubrovnik (2 nights) - Mostar (1 night) - Split (1 night) - Hvar (4 nights) - Cavtat (4 nights).

Worked perfectly for us and I wouldn't have changed anything.

Cavtat is a lovely little village just outside Dubrovnik, great place to go for a relaxing few days. You can get a boat from there into Dubrovnik (best to go in the afternoon and leave at nightime - the views are gorgeous). We're going back there for a week later this year.

Hvar is also fantastic but expensive as you'd expect.

I was thinking this as well - is it definitely worth a visit?
