Van hire company open on Sunday?

    Hi,
    I'm looking to rent a van (for moving furniture) this Sunday in Cork. Anyone know of any companies that would be open?

    The answer to that is none. There are no insurance companies open over the weekend therefore the rental company could not get you insured on a saturday or sunday. You will have to rent the van on friday for a monday return.

    try the car rentals in the airport, hertz, budget etc. they might be able to sort you out.

    Correct - rented a van from Hertz a few months ago, picked up on Sunday at 0900 returned on Monday at 0800. Very reasonable including insurance!
