Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just saw this

Wilson has now scored at every age level this season. That includes the U18s, U19s, U21s and, as of tonight, the first team.

Shinji's time has to be up..love watching him play and he will probably shine at the world cup but he is just not suited to United/Premier League

I don't think many players should be judged on how well they are suited to us/the league based on this season.

The 50odd line ups were all unique?

I thought it was just no line up was the same for two games in a row, I didn't know they were all unique combinations

Just saw on sky sports zanetti retiring at the end of the season, giggs probably as well so the last of the old dogs hanging up the boots

Hmm, maybe I misinterpreted what commentators/pundits have been saying. At the time they were saying "Moyes has had 50 different line-ups so far this season", I took it to mean unique line-ups.

Does anyone here actually know for a fact if they were unique of not?

Zanetti was asked recently to name the 3 toughest opponents in his career and he went 3) Zidane, 2) Kaka, 1) Giggs.

I think it's changing line ups from one game to the next. We defo have had the same team sometimes. Just not consecutively.

Kagawa looks poor in a deeper role. Fellaini just looks crap.

    Good to see rvp back

Lawrence has impressed me tonight. Wilson will grab the headlines but Lawrence has been very positive tonight. Always looking to go forward.

I remember him coming on for the first time and praying he'd be around for 10 years. 23 years later.....Wow. Thank you Ryan, a true living legend.

Delighted for Wilson, what a debut by the sounds of it.

A poster in the 'daily bets/banter/accumulators' thread is going to be very happy tonight. Earlier today he said he had put his remaining bankroll for May on Wilson as first scorer, and to get 2 or more also.

Meanwhile in my gaff, tonight we dine on tuna pasta!

And still 23 years later, Giggs is still tearing them apart.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,929 ✭✭✭KH25

If Fellaini can play for United, there's hope for us all.

Who did he give a shoeing to? I'm in work so can't watch it. On a side note his old fella taught me in college. Sound man.

    Januzaj

    Enjoyed that.

Wilson's debut was great, Lawerence looked decent, Januzaj showed some great flashes too. We're lucky to have three exciting talents like that.

Felaini was a disaster though. Just beyond useless tonight....

Vidic last home game for us. Id like to thank him for everything he has done. What a brilliant player and a better captain. A player that gave it all for the team, had no problem putting his life on the line to clear balls

    Thanks Vidic you legend

    +1

Never feared anything or anyone. Will be sorely missed.

Tonight was just a compilation of Fellaini being out of his depth. He slows the team down EVERY time he gets the ball. He can't take just one touch, he needs at least 2.

Did Giggs do a end of season chat like Fergie used to?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,825 ✭✭✭Timmyctc

Giggs showed how pure class he is there tonight. No matter when he comes on he always looks assured and capable of creating something. Still think he's the main reason we made it as far in the CL and I still maintain his best ever performance was v Real last year when he was tearing the likes of Kaka and Coentrao apart on the left wing.

Vidic another absolute gem of a player we'll miss. Defenders of his ilk are few and far between, and the way diving/simulation is going these days I'd say players of his like will be few and far between in the future. Hope he goes to Inter and wins the CL again. Hero. (That's coming from a Juve fan :pac:)

Always been a defender of Fell but he's been absolutely woeful again. A different person altogether from the man tearing it up for Everton. Really hope he can find that form one day.

ALSO. Meyler is a **** and I stand by the fact Pardew was 100% correct in headbutting the ****.
