Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering what people are using to keep the leathers in good condition?

Ive heard anything from using saddle soap, to waxing them and others just saying they don't clean them at all.

I'm going to pick up something tomorrow to give them a once over.
Most likely just grab whatever cotters have handy!

But would be interested to hear what you guys use.

www.renapur.com is what i use, small tub lasts ages. never tried the leather cleaner as i find the balsam works well enough for cleaning etc

I have saddle soap to clean if they are very dirty and then Effax leather balm to keep them supple.
Usually I find a wipe with a damp cloth gets most of the insects off with a bit of rubbing, then I use saddle soap to clean road grime off them then followed by the leather balm its basically beeswax with some other ingredients like Lanolin
Cotters will have something to suit.

I use nothing only the leather wipes from Aldi/Lidl the odd time when covered in flies along with a healthy dose of RAIN.

Gonna drop up to cotters for a spin tomorrow and get some leather conditioner anyway. Will grab some wipes too for a quick clean down after a spin.
