Hi lads have a 42LS570T telly I got from you about 18mths ago. The remote has all of a sudden stopped working. I've put new batteries in no joy. Any ideas?, I bought an extended warranty with it, does that cover the remote assume it does?

Hi Leslie, thanks for the reply.

Just to make sure that it is the remote if you point the remote at a camera lens or a camera on a phone and look through the lens on the camera, point the remote at the camera and press the button on the remote control, you should see a light flashing from the infra red transmitter on the end of the remote. If this does not flash then it is the remote.

You could also check that the connections where the batteries are, are not corroded or broken.

Let me know if you think it's the remote.
