Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everton have Jagielka, Distin, Stones and Alcaraz, why would they want another centre-back? They need another striker or even an attacking midfielder.

They've conceded 10 goals in 3 games, distin is like 37? And alcarez is crap, stones is still young. Shawcross would walk into their team

    Quality > quantity.

    Something Arsene Wenger should realise.

Will be a big loss for Hughes at Stoke, I wonder who he has lined up to replace him.

Burnley are really struggling to sign players. Paying £3m for Boyd isn't good value at all.

That's a strange signing they have no cover at cb and will now have Ings Jutkiewicz Barnes sordell boyd and Vokes when fit as strikers.

£8m for Shawcross is a steal, massive loss for Stoke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,285 ✭✭✭Frankie Lee

Shawcross at £8m is very good value for money too. Stoke have players in the squad to cover for him but they are all a step down. Huth, Wilson, Muniesa, Geoff Cameron and a big Brazilian lad signed from Slovakia. United could have done with Shawcross too considering their lack of leadership.

Shawcross will be a great signing for Everton. Will certainly improve their backline, which has been shipping goals this season.

He's a very good signing and should give him a better look in to the england setup its a travesty dross like Smalling and Jones get called up ahead of him.

That Falcao to Utd story is hilarious if it happens. Desperation from the Utd marketing dept.

Marco van Ginkel from Chelsea to Milan

Utd have lost the plot surely? More money than sense.

Unless of course they are actually going to sign players they actually need as well

Falcao is a loan with 15m in wages

United are honestly just the Real Madrid of England at the moment. Buying "Galacticos" when they so badly need to invest elsewhere.

To be fair your not considering the players we have out on injury and unavailable for selection as of yet,

Rojo CB, Blind DM, Shaw LB, Carrick CM, Fellenni DM, Herrera CM to name a few.

With RVP due an op this is a great move.

This international break came at the perfect time.

Sky Sports' Spanish expert Guillem Balague believes Radamel Falcao is on his way to Manchester United. He thinks Falcao has "been enticed by the project at Old Trafford despite their lack of Champions League football".

Yeh, THAT'S why he's going. The PROJECT.

Not the huge loan fee and wages...

Utd are really spending big to get top 4 this season.

Will backfire badly if it doesn't happen.

The midfield and defense is still as soft as butter. Still a few hours left mind.

But they they did just sign a monster shirt deal, but they can still afford to fail more than most...

Does the payout remain the same if CL is missed out again? I'd imagine those mega deals have something in the contract for such scenarios
