They are showing each episode of RedRock three times on TV3 and once on 3E.

It's what they did with Coro St and Emmerdale. But not on 3e

RTE show an episode of Home And Away 3 times, so it's not exactly out of the norm to have soaps repeated the following day and over the weekend.

Though the could only show Fair City twice due to equity and then had to negotiate to get it on the Player and on +1, no omnibus.

Irish television is more replays then anything.

Only 225 watched RedRock? I would have thought they would get at least 500. :)

What % is that? How does it compare with UTVi and RTE1 and 2?

Also not really sure how medialive reports their figures but they only report Adults +15, I think the total figure was 310,000 on average.

Over all TV3 did better then UTV and RTÉ2 but I'd say they are all around the 6% to 7% share.

Input in the TAM box when stating who is viewing.

Late changes in the schedule for next week already for TV3.

The Algorithm is now at the earlier time of 5:40pm on a Saturday, while The Lie and Nothing To Declare swap positions between 7-8. A quick reaction to those figures, as neither shows came in the Top 20 for the first week.

Disappointing though, that a home made game show is shunted down the schedule after only 2 episodes in favour of The Cube - which now goes up against same programme on UTV Ireland.

    The Algorithm is muck though.

Watched it through the TV3 player during the week - thought it was ok. They've done well with the set and felt they needed to be given more time at a prime time slot. Plus it's miles better than what was on at RTE1 at the same time. (which probably isn't hard)
But I guess it's a ratings game, and The Cube will always perform better on Saturdays.
It shows the channels biggest weaknesses on the weekends, if they are reliant on Ant And Dec and The Cube - programmes they won't have new episodes of from now on. Surprised they haven't launched Take Me Out UK alongside ITV, as they have rights to that.

I don't know, I'd say it's just turned into a Red Rock preview if there was any.

Anyone know their financial situation? May not be around in 2 years and country is not big enough for this type of channel. They need a niche to focus on like news or sport or films but being another eye or utv is too crowded. Tough gig for them.

It's been with the channel since it began. It was moved to 4:30-5:30 in 1999 - a huge 16 years, and it has been there ever since.

Really isn't a good thing that daytime TV is part of the top 20 programmes.

TV3 is utter rubbish, can't always watch it with it's low quality picture quality and cheap programming. Even Vincent Browne's show is slipping in quality when I do watch TV3.

Can I ask has 3e lost the right to Friends?, I used to watch it all the time it was on, now its never on..

Saw the best thing in a long while on TV3 last week. They caught a good chuck of Amanda Brunker's fat ass at the end of her work experience programme last Thursday night. Catch up on the player if you missed it! :)

They rushed through a lot of episodes before 31st December, so I can only presume they had the rights until 2014, but don't this year. But that's only a presumption.

Life looks to be starting on 18th February according to their Facebook page.
