NB: COH2 has a rake of DLC but even with all the DLC you cant use half the units, you have to buy commanders at not so mico-transaction rates or grind for like 30hrs/commander. Really spoiled a great franchise for me.

not anymore, it was changed a while back. Much easier to get what ye want now. Plus new users get 30k worth of ingame credit to buy their own commanders when they buy that humble bundle

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,929 ✭✭✭✭ShadowHearth

I am really tempted with this full bundle... Very tempted....

I bet "games giveaway" thread will be filled with CH1. :)

Ahh its still f'ck slow. 3 wins to get 500 supply, 11k supply for a basic commander.

I actually think the first game is still the better game! I have both but rarely play COH2, play a lot of COH though.

Ubisoft giving away Beyond Good & Evil from this day next week, as part of their on-going giveaways!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,935 ✭✭✭eyerer

I liked BG&E back in the day, but I don't play with m&k any more and they never introduced inverted y-axis for the pc version.. I never thought it would be that important but hey lol

AFAIK they remastered it but only for consoles?

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Was more just an engine tweak so that it'd run at HD resolutions, which the PC could already do.
The lack of inversion option is annoying alright.
Nice timing too, with the art that Michael Ancel has been posting on his instagram for BG&E2

they do supply point weekends too, 2500 per 3 wins

easy enough to get wins if you're grinding out a commander, and tbh it's lot fairer than it used to be

Xbox 360 version did not had invert y-axis. I couldn't not play it. I am one of those freaks who needs it to be inverted. Its weird to see games that has no option like this.

You should get an email letting you know you can claim (if you successfully voted), it sends you here - https://goldenjoysticks.greenmangaming.com/
Enter your details and you should get an email with a voucher code.
Then go to the gmg shop and buy the golden pack - https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/golden-pack/
add your voucher code which brings the cost down to €1, pay and you get the codes for the 3 games.
Then I think if you have your steam account linked to your gmg account when you play Spec Ops you get €1 gmg credit back.

10 racing Games on Steam for €1.59 including GT Legends.

    https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/born-2-race-3-bundle

    FlatOut 2
    Ford Racing 3
    Insane 2
    Zero Gear
    GT Legends
    Vangers
    Switch Galaxy Ultra
    OutDrive
    HTR+ Slot Car Simulation
    Monster Truck Destruction

Mostly shovelware but worth it alone for just for GT Legends if youre into Racing sims. 11 years old now but still holds up.

Insane 2 and Switch Galaxy Ultra look worth a go also if youre into that kind of thing.

    Middle-Earth Shadow of Mordor on Bundlestars;
    https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor-bundle

Strangely their website is only showing me £ Sterling prices, usually it's always in € euros.
Worked out a wee bit cheaper because of that; €4.65, I'm guessing this game is €4.99 for people seeing € euro prices.

I had a problem like that for 3 years, a really good support fellow helped me out. Karl was his name.

Moral of the story get on to playfire/gmg support about it, it's a known problem with accounts.

Been playing Flatout 2 today with a friend and its suprisingly great fun, real smooth handling, tracks with alternative pathways and obstacles.
The graphics even look fantastic despite being a decade old.

If anyone fancies playing it online send us a pm.

I did this but haven't heard a squeak. So long ago I can't remember the procedure....they should have emailed me yes?

Figured it out ...claimed it manually. The most mind-bendingly convoluted process I have come across.
