Just picked up Shadow of Mordor for €17 from g2a dot com. Then remembered that I won't be able to play it until I upgrade. :pac:

So there's an Anime Steam Sale

Most of the stuff there I'm scratching my head and going "Huh?" at, but there's some interesting stuff. I'm still tempted to pick up Recettear at some point after playing the demo, it's a fun concept. Also kinda tempted to nab Blazblue for oldschool fighter buzz :D

Already have Long Live The Queen, which is sadly one that's been on the backlog :(

Saints Row sale over at the Humble Bundle Store this weekend. Can't link because of my post count.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/saintsrow is the link - my girlfriend and I have just started playing SR4 in co-op, it cannot be overstated how silly and fun it is to be bouncing around the city like a Gummi Bear and running through cars and people without a care :D

After you saying Gummi Bear, and because it rhymed, I read that "running through cars and people without a care" part to the Gummi Bears theme tune.

As said, 3 is a lot of fun. 2 is a very good game too but the PC port is terrible.

How does that compare to Battlefield 4?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,944 ✭✭✭✭Links234

Was Insurgency that game people had a load of free copies to give away a while back?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 14,710 Mod ✭✭✭✭Dcully

How does that compare to Battlefield 4?

    Its infantry only,tactical, realism shooter.
Lot better netcode than battlefield could dream of as it source based.
Think of it as cod without the running and gunning but infinitely more tactical.

Indie gala are selling Betrayer for about 1 euro along with two extra unnamed games.

    https://www.indiegala.com/janus
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/243120/

It's gotten pretty reasonable ratings so worth a punt, I think.

Other games will probably be rubbish. I didn't bother forking out the extra for the full bundle either.

Betrayer most definitly worth a Euro. I found it very enjoyable. Strage game and ever stranger game setting..

Titan Quest Gold is only €2.49 on Steam at the moment. Lots of positive reviews from gamers. Never played this type of game, but at that price.......
