Styx is 11.99 or 60% off at the moment too, that's one that I've been wanting to check out for quite a while.

Just picked up "out there somewhere" on steam for 19cents.

    Cheapest game I've ever bought.

Looks like a decent indie retro style game.

Reviewed pretty glowing reviews on release.

    Again though 19cent!

Even if I only play it for a minute I'll have got my money's worth.

Seemingly difficult btw which you might see as a good or bad thing depending on your point of view I suppose.

With trading cards, so it'll probably end up being free or even making you money!

I've no idea what trading cards are. I'll google it later.

I've only started using steam for a small bit of gaming.

Picked up skyrim, witcher 2 and child of light in the steam sale.

Tried to keep it to games I really want to play but it's tough when they're such good value. Lol

Double fine sale at humble bundle store. Some good prices, though many have shown up in bundles etc over the time. I recommend stacking for €1 if you want a fun, original game.

Yes it is so in PM I sent details to that guy who replied to pay the €12.49 to my paypal account and then I will send him the steam code. I haven't heard back from him so he may think I was trying to scam him.

NotGTAV is worth a look for 74 cents on steam. Just a pisstake on gta and cheap fun. Also all proceeds go to charity.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,553 ✭✭✭murphyebass

Got to play about a half hour of "out there somewhere" last night.

It's a really nicely done retro puzzle platformer.

    Tight controls. Excellent chip tunes.

A real hidden gem imo and all for 19cent on steam at the minute.

    Highly recommend it.

Some decent offers in the Humble Store's DRM-free sale. Today's deals only last for the next few hours.

Super hexagon 29c and VVVVVV 49c at humble bundle.

    https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/superhexagon_storefront
    https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/vvvvvv_storefront

VVVVVV is a cool C64 styled platformer with a great accompanying soundtrack. Super hexagon is highly addictive. Both easily worth the money.

Two fun games made by an Irish lad

VVVVV is rage inducing. This is a guy who has beaten all the Souls games several times, and VVVVV makes me rage quit after 15 mins or I'll smash my screen.

    It's fun though, recommended.

It means I'm more likely to punch a TV than mangle a PS3 pad :( And possibly that I have anger issues.

    Apologies for chat mods :p

Of Orcs and Men is €4.50 on Nuuvem

You could say the same about Super hexagon, except divide the time by 10, c*nt of a game! :pac:
