Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like Liverpool are being found out, can see them struggling to finish top four next season

    Top 4?

    They won't make top 10

Yeah league was lost against Chelsea. Everything since is just gravy. City were not going to balls it up at home to Villa and West Ham.

No win in the last 3 games is not good though. Season just fizzled out.

Last realistic hope was lost at Goodison imo. If Everton had got something from that game, the Palace game would certainly not have finished 3-3 in that fashion.

Focus on the game and stop with the petty back and forths.

Liverpool will be relegated by Christmas and Rodgers will be replaced by a Panda.

  • Looks like Liverpool are being found out, can see them struggling to finish top four next season

Can't expect to win a league and conceed 50 plus goals. They look fatigued neway.
And the defending is just shocking.

It seems that anyone who posts something in anyway critical of Liverpool is met with comments like "They're all coming out of the woodwork" and "ignore the knuckledraggers"

Anything critical? There is a big difference between:

"Wow, Liverpool are awful today, really finishing the season on a bad run."

    And

"Ha, ha, delighted to see them choking, haha."

Anything critical, my arse (as Jim Royle would say)

well that would result in an FA investigation as panda's cannot get their coaching badges.
nowhere to pin them on you see.

Think Liverpool just proved they weren't up for it when the going got tough. City were by a good bit the best team in the league so it's good to see them win. There's no way you can win a league with the porous defence they have.

Glad we won't have the nonsense of hearing of players "deserving" to win the league despite their team not getting the most points in a league of 20 teams.

Good to see Newcastle win as well, Pardew needs a break, hopefully he can forget the disaster that was the second half of the season and keep his job.

Another wrong decision in my opinion. Why did Rodgers not start him is mind boggling unless he's injured.

I dunno lads, I might be a sap but I think Liverpool can win this and City will lose to a Joe cole Hat trick.

Sturridge to bang in a hat-trick and provide the goals I was expecting from this match

Fatigued playing one game a week is a shocking indictment on general fitness.

We are very limited when we don't have possession that's the problem with this side. Gerrard is a fantastic player when on the ball but when teams turn him he doesn't have the legs to track runners. And it will be exploited in a massive way in Europe.

Solid defending coupled with quick passing to technically adept players in our half will give us absolute fits. You cannot go toe to toe with technically better sides playing the way we do.

The going got tough away to West Ham, Liverpool got the win.
The going got tough at home to City, Liverpool got the win.
The game that they didn't handle the tough going was at home to Chelsea, after that loss coupled with City beating Palace immediately after it was City's to lose. The only way Liverpool could have been let back into it was if Everton took points off City.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Surely Rodgers will be on the phone to Sagna if he's leaving Arsenal?

Failing that, i'd be going balls out for Cuadrado.

Title winning teams don't have the slip ups that Liverpool had when it mattered though, in the run in.

Definitely worst home performance of the season. Maybe even the entire season. Haven't turned up at all. So lethargic. Mentally more than physically I think.
