Cheques cashed by issuing branch?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering if the specific branch that issued my "AC Payee Only" Cheque can be cashed by that branch or am I missing the whole point of AC Payee Only? Thanks.

Hi gamblitis,

This cheque will need to be lodged into the account with the same name that is on the cheque. It is not possible to cash a cheque that is crossed or marked with "Account Payee Only".
