Summer work abroad?

I finish my leaving cert at the end of June and would really like to work abroad for a month or two. I've done a lot of research looking at fruit picking and waitressing etc but I can't figure out what to do. Are there any agencies around that are good for this kind of thing? I want to do it because my Dad did it but he literally just hitched to the Ruhr valley penniless and got a job in a steel mill, I'd like a bit more safety considering I'm a girl.

    How about French Campsites.
If you have any second language skills it is a good option and looks like great crack.

I have fairly good leaving cert standard French but I don't know if that's any use? Is there any camp sites in particular you know about?
