Spring lamb prices

Ive a couple of lambs averaging 40kg, there is a couple 45kg anyone any idea what they are fetching in the marts right now or is the factory the best place for them?

I’ve never done it either. After a hard and expensive last 12 months it’s hard to stomach getting screwed again.

every woman and man is their own position hard to hold them too if they are fit best advice might be keep going with ram lambs as they have small window when they are in top order before they get scraggy and lose condition chasing around the place. Ewe lambs always hold the fat. If there’s too much holding back you end up with a glut in a months time. I’m weaning now so nothing will go til after Galway only thing I have to clickzin again now , they were done on may 20th

Killed 70 there today, averaged just shy of 159. Happy enough with it.
