    I got 465 incl QA bonus with ICM on Friday with an awful struggle. Was told that the factory was ringing lads looking for lambs on Friday if story was to be believed. Dig the heels in lads when getting a price

    That's good to hear,was in Dowra for a look see on Sat,best of factory lambs made €94....saw a pen of quality stores make €84.Good few customers for stores,the lighter the lamb the better the price....rubbishy lambs making €60.Also heard factories having to look for lambs...good enough for them.

    Depend on lamb quality and if they are weaned or not. Lambs here still on ewes and vendeen lambs 45kg kill 21ish.

    Would 41 and 42kg not be a bit light?

    Although, given prices are heading down, maybe it is better to sell a bit lighter than get the same money in a months time...

    Man got 79.50 for 33kg mixed suffolk/texel lambs last night.

    Got 90.50 for two 42kg (my weigh bridge said 45kg) suffolk pet lambs I reared out of a bucket,these turned out great sheep.Again this week lighter lambs making more money

    Cotehill mart tonight, lambs 43 kg making around 90 to 91 euro.
    Light lambs dearer. Saw 6 @31 kg make 80 euro.

    That's a robbery for that weight of lambs (the lighter ones).....

    heard €2.80

    marts would be better option for heavy ewes IMO

    That's a savage price for old ewes - but I guess if they were fed, they'd eat a fair bit...
