Sold 8 today. 45kg's - €108euro. Another 15 off this evening. Between 2:30 and 2:40 depending on quality. Lightens the load, hopefully another 10-15 in a fortnight. The last ones left after that will be triplets and few late born.

Would they have gotten much meal Mac?

A bag a day between 48 of them for the last 4 weeks. ~€200.
Will feed them on for another 3 weeks and that will see the bulk of them gone.'they had the best grass available though which helped.

Lamb prices expected to dip after the recent rush. I see the next Muslim festival is 3rd oct, being Islamic new year. Would this give a similiar boost to demand ?

That seems to be about the going rate this week.More available early last week but price seems to have stagnated somewhat recently.
Hard to see where enough lambs are coming from as everyone seems to have the one complaint this year ie poor thrive and a lot of extra lambs left on farms compared to other years.

Cannt disagree with that, loads left here. mealing seems to be the only way to shift them. Hoping price might rise abut more next week, hoping the Muslim festival early oct might help Abit.

Sorry, Didn't ask cut off point, as not confident my lambs will break near the 22kg point ormond.
