Heard today lambs going to be pulled back to 5.80.....was thinking of showing some forward stores up on 4O kgs in Mart but bit afraid that the good weather will see less customers in Mart.

Factory agents giving a lot more than the equivalent of 5.80 at some marts. 40kg stores coming to about €90.

I sent lambs monday and was told 5.80 but when Cheque came out only got 5.70.

Dropped sheep into factory this evening. Never saw it do quiet. Ud think there would be a price increase with everyone st hay

5.65-5.70 being quoted for next week, a lot of under finished or light lambs being slaughtered seemly, lads offloading stock due to the weather

There's nothing wrong with that... what breed? Never bothered castrating ram lambs here.

Anyone know a reliable factory agent covering Waterford?

Have been let down by two different fellas in the past week. Lambs ready to go (43-47kg) and grass getting very scarce.

Yeah, needed someone to draw them to factory as it’s 80 miles to nearest one in Kildare and our poor trailer might not be ready for the motorway.

Got sorted in the end. One of the lads who disappeared last week magically reappeared Sunday afternoon

Therell be no aftergrass for a while so its a buyers market for the forseeable

Got 5.80 for lambs killed last Tues. hearing stories of 5.20 for week coming.

No one representing sheep farmers. Factories can do what they please
