TBH the only misery guts is you ...do you think if i had the opportunity of the Giro passing my door i would debate whether i would go out or not or be wondering about what I can get .......says it all really

It's a publicity caravan fella. That's what it's for. I've raced half of my life, and I'll be out cheering on the riders. I only ask because I'll be watching the race inside.

It was sunny here in D7, just got overcast. I'm going to get on my bike and head in at 1, guaranteed to rain then

Chucking it down in Raheny now, looks like standing under the trees in St Anne's beside the seafront could be a good option.

RTE news at one reporting that the stage is finishing in Parnell Square, which will come as a surprise to everyone waiting at Merrion Square. (Also, I'm almost certain that the guy said that Ulster won the Eurovision last night.)

    Good work lads...

Would be very nice without the rain today :/ Contemplating where to go and watch it..the finish line would be cool but it'll be jammed

That "S" bend coming off Westland Row with 300meters to go could cause some big problems especially if its raining.

Just back in from Keady, very enjoyable, huge crowds, and sunny in the main. Really hope the towns in the south can match it. Good PR for the PSNI too......and back in time for the Eurosport coverage
