Cheap hotel - Cork

By looking online it lists only the.... Does anyone know of any cheap hotels in Co. Cork in the city or suburbs? Any obscure hotel that would accommodate someone for the week.

Jurys is in the city centre just behind the clarion overlooking the river. About €500 for 6 nights I think.

Ambassador Hotel is showing ~55 a night for me. Its allegedly 4* but was well below that standard last time I stayed there - however, it'd still easily be 3* (and claims "new look" now so maybe has been refit) and there's free parking.

If you just need cheap accommodation, it might be worth your while ringing around a few b&bs in the city. There's a few along western road for example. The likes of those are more likely to strike a deal than a hotel I would think.
If you want to stay in a hotel, you could probably do the same, but they might not be as quick to bargain with you. There's also a few places along macurtain street, I've noticed them while sitting in traffic!

Airport hotel is very reasonably priced and only 6-7 mins form the city centre by car.

Blarney mills hotel or blarney golf resort do good prices if you ring them.

Brookfield beside UCC can have good prices.

Feenhill golf course do good price rooms.

For somewhere closer to the city the belvedere lodge beside the silver springs is handy and well priced

Thanks for the suggestions Glenwood Guesthouse looks like a fab deal in carrigaline i'll go for that one.
