Qualcast 320w grass trimmer issue

    Am at a complete loss so if anyone could help I would be delighted.

    The grass trimmer is not the most advanced piece of kit but it has me stumped. The reel is attached to the main mechanism by a pin. This pin rotates the reel. Since yesterday the reel no longer wants to be attached to the pin and flies off every time I pull the start trigger.

    It's a cordless electric and is about a year old but has not been used that much. Does anybody else have one?

    Should I be investing in a newer model?
