    Sean Astin?

The Alicia Fox thing didn't seem too scripted. Seemed like she was just told to go crazy after the match without specifics. But was strange having a divas match which involved talking before the match and a reason for wanting to fight that didn't happen months ago.
Liked that match apart from the fact Paige became an "out of nowhere" winner.
Then we had the Total Divas match which basically sent the divas division back a few steps again.

Thought that exact same thing myself. They were arguing over the fact that one painted something terribly, and then y'know "bitchez be crazy", so of course a fight had to be arranged. Then the rest of the Divas were scoring them for some reason. It must be shockingly disheartening to be a female wrestler and watch tripe like that.

Not sure what the craic with Sheamus is though. The crowd loved him last night. Not an obvious heel turn, by any stretch - if it is one.

And that painting incident happened a while ago since Total Divas is recorded in advance which makes having fights related to the latest episode stupid.

As for Sheamus, I was looking for him to do something heelish and when he didn't I thought it might be because they don't want to go ahead with it until Bryan is back.

    Seth rogan?

If Bryan's neck surgery ends up being more serious than expected then it will he interesting see how they respond. They are thin on main event full-timers who could carry the belt and unless they want to go back to Cena and Orton they may have to hotshot someone into it. It's been a few years since Sheamus and Wade were near the main event, Ziggler's probably had his day, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt are tied up in their respective stables, I can't see Sandow recovering and that pre-show promo was pretty poor. You get the impression they have something marinating for Cesaro maybe with Brock. There's options if they need to though.

A decent built feud between Paige and Alicia could be good for both

The Kane Bryan angle is a strange one. Why write someone off who has already been written off? Why record the angle with Kane if they aren't going to fight at the next PPV? Are they really already planning for Bryan to continue a feud with Kane when he comes back? Seems unlikely to me. Also why was there nothing about what happens with the WWE title three weeks before the next PPV?

My own thinking is that Bryan will be so angry with Kane that he will postpone the surgery in order to finish the job at Payback. Not saying he won't have surgery soon but I dunno something doesn't seem right.

I've really enjoyed Alicia Fox lately, and the angle she did on the show suggests management wish to do something with her which sounds good to me.

I was surprised at the negativity Bryan got during his promo. Audible boos during it. I guess the Kane storyline is turning some off already.

They probably did the angle as a way to write Bryan off TV just in case he is out for an extended period of time. It's pretty standard to write someone out like that - Undertaker was written off a bunch of times. Doesn't neccesarily mean if he doesn't return for 6months they will pick up where they left off. The surgery is legit btw, it is scheduled for Thursday.

The impression I got was that the audible boos were people thinking it was a sh*tty angle.

I think the boos were more because he announced he was injured

I think a Kane/Bryan feud had potential given their history, but the angle has been all wrong. Should have played up their past friendship and maybe had it be about Bryan trying to save Kane from "the dark side"? I don't know, as someone who only dipped in and out the last few years that's the kind of angle i thought they'd go with.

Instead they've made it about Stephanie, she's the real problem imo.

Nothing with Kane has potential. He should have retired once the mask came off and he started talking.

This without a shadow of a doubt, Kane lost his mystique for lack off a better word when the mask came off & he started talking.

Was just thinking, one thing about Adam Rose's entrance that really needs to change is that bit at the beginning of his theme.

But they didn't need Kane/Bryan segment to write Bryan off. Epically when you had a segment where Bryan announced that he is going for surgery and doesn't know when he is coming back but he will be back.

The Exotic Express is actually legit Adam and Rosebuds went from Raw to Smackdown in it. - Adam Rose wasn't used it seems. But I can't imagine the heat Rose has for getting a tour bus for free. Normally you would have to break 7 figures to afford to have one on the road.

Suppose it was the same thinking as DiBiase in his heyday. WWE paying for limos, first class everything for him to keep kayfabe,

still real to them damnnit. :pac:

Anyway i thought it was someones in the company who was asked to put the Vinyl logos on their bus.

Handy gig for DiBiase if that was the case, can see why they did it though, couldn't see the Million Dollar Man rocking up to a Motel 6 on a bus on the road.

It is genuinely true. Pat Patterson rang Ted when he was in Mid South Wrestling say Vince had a gimmick for him that a) he couldn't tell Ted over the phone and he told a skeptical Ted over the phone that b) Vince McMahon would play the character himself if he could. The character was a proxy for Vince essentially. Ted had to play the gimmick in public. A wad of cash in his pocket that he could splash around - buying everyone a drink in a bar to announce he was there and a big shot/star from TV which WWF would reimburse Ted as expenses.

Anyway Adam Rose did wrestle at Smackdown taping in a dark match against El Local (Ricardo)

Still don't know who the guy reminds me of. It was some stupid comic relief guy in something.

As for Fox.....anyone think they could be working towards Fox and Sandow forming a partnership in a "We're misused" way? They started teasing it with Miz and Ziggler as well a few weeks back and it went nowhere....

Not saying it would be a good idea, mind; I could see them being pushed as heels but cheered like faces (or ignored cause they are all jobbers...)
