    Hi all,

I wonder can anyone shed some light on which electrical contractor(s) is installing the Grangegorman project. Any help with info including sub contractors would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Has the project even started yet?

I have noticed construction traffic pulling in from the NCR into what I am presuming is connected to the proposed DIT campus.

Last I heard Mercury had the main contract, but it'll probably be all subbed out, probably just civils in there now so it'll be a while before sparks get in at it

I was talking to someone that works for Mercury today.
He told me that he was working in Grangegorman.

Whoever the contractor is, they must be paying below the rate because the TEEU picketed the site a 2 weeks ago

Thanks for all your replies. If the TEEU picketed the site then it must be due to subbies not paying the rate. Mercury always pay the rate AFAIK.
