When it comes to running full speed into opposition back row players, Felix Jones is certainly an expert.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Why was the referee shouting no there? The ball was very, very clearly beyond the last foot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

    Beautiful kick from Keatley.

Murray and Keatley are really going to be the difference if they keep playing like they are.

    he learnt that from R.Kearney

    Bizarre. As clear as day.

Also certain high tackle on POC.

Breakdowns are war at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Munster can win this but really need to tighten up. A lot of first up tackles being missed. Superior fitness and benches will play a big part.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Glasgow really miss Hogg when that possession slows down.

Kept the ball about 5 phases longer than they should have there, that ball should have gone in behind the Munster line.

Difference between the sides is Munster know what they want to do with the ball but neither side securing the breakdown very well.

When that full speed is slower than most of the back rowers, they dont have to work to hard to have him run into them.

Breakdowns are war at the moment.

They're a war and a complete mess. Players from both sides flying in off their feet, opposition killing the ball.

Referee has set the tone and players are taking advantage.

Jones hit Maitland for all he was worth there!

Glasgow have a lot of huff & puff, but no real penetration, another try by Munster here before half time should settle the nerves

    Vocal pissed off crowd!

  • Some step by Dougall there jj would be proud

Rare moment of indecision from Murray

    Brilliant defence against Zebo

Munster could have 2 tries with 5% possession.

    Brilliant defence against Zebo

    Maybe not

Zebo BUTCHERED that. Stander was in space outside with a clear run in. Very frustrating.

And that applies whether or not the try stands.

    Some rubbish camera positioning here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Strauss gone. Glasgow's most important player. Munster are well on for smash and grab.

Try was probably scored. Hard to say if he made line though on footage.

What the feck is up with this crowd??

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Oooh. Zebo will be disappointed. Should have got in from there but superb defence.

His decision I think. Didn't think he made the line myself.

Push over try to come here!
    Rubbish call ref

Joe Schmidt was standing behind the goal with a sign saying "go for it." Schmidt ruins Munster's season yet again.

Strauss was having a brilliant game too.

At the moment I think Munster are the better team. But if they drop off in defense again or Glasgow start to do more with their possession that could change.

Glasgow very inaccurate, lack of experience on the big stage showing

Ha, poor auld Michael Bennett robbed there!

I'd say theres a few Glasgow football fans in the crowd tonight....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Don't agree with that. Leas evidence that it as knocked on then there was of it being a try, then Glasgow crumbled at the scrum and he gives a hometown decision.

That was a Glasgow lineout though. Crowd are irritating but its prob the same in Thomond minus the soccer Cheat chants.

Taxi for the assistant, that's Peter Allan level of blindness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,001 ✭✭✭✭2smiggy

I've never heard so much booooing from a crowd and complaining from a team captain. I know soccer season is over and it's a novelty for Glasgow to have this many people at a home game...

Dave Pearson's guide dog would have been useful there.

A great game so far. Some class defence.

A sporting event with boo's, oh the inhumanity of it all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 968 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

    JJ on, Keatley fullback presumably.

Was not counting the top 14 :p , that's quite bad. Ravenhill not as bad as this from my time watching, never been there. More of a good atmosphere rather than constant booooing surely ?

Glasgow player lying on the wrong side, slows the play down, but he gives the scrum to Glasgow?

Then Penalty at the scrum to Glasgow.
