We're looking to get a CRM and job management package designed for our company's specific needs. We are a small plumbing and heating company and would like the package to be designed to our specific requirements and to have our existing customer data imported. We don't want to just buy a generic CRM and set it up ourselves. Any experience or recommendations for a company who could do this for us

Unless you have very deep pockets, and asking for a bespoke bit of software written for you alone is not going to be cheap or more importantly, reliable. My advise to you is to go for the biggest seller of CRM software and then ask them to point you to one of their bolt-on companies who work with your type of business.

I don't know the biggest developer of CRM software, hopefully someone else can help you on that one.....

We use prospectsoft CRM and its very good. We would be in the same type of service/trade industry as you but we have 60 employees. Package costs 4000 euro per year if thats something you could stretch to. Implementation wasnt cheap either! Its sold by exchequer software in Ireland. I am the system administrator for my company and the best advice is to know exactly what you want it to do for you before you purchase to get it right from the start

Why does a "small plumbing and heating company" need a package designed to your specific requirements? That is potentially a very expensive approach particularly as you will need to pay every year to maintain and support the custom installation.

Perhaps if you described your needs you will get a more useful answer as CRM is an incredibly broad term - you may in fact be looking for field force automation rather the basic CRM if it's about automating your field work force, parts, service etc rather than CRM which tends to only deal with the Sales aspect. Try http://www.psi-mobile.com/ who are an irish company who make cloud software in this area.
