Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi – Anyone have an operation to repair this before?

Had sore knee for about 6 months now, sharp pain at times when I do certain movements. Can run to an extent but football is out of the question.

I had an MRI last wkend and results showed Articular cartilage damage. Doctor said try physio for 4 more weeks and then get surgery if that dosent work.

Just wondering about recovery, price of surgery..

    Hello,

I recently had microfracture surgery on my medial fed oral condyle. May I ask if you had the surgery and how you have progressed since? I play sport at a high level an would appreciate any advice to ease my mind.

    Thank you!!

I did not have surgery, instead got some experimental PRP injections which are in trial to promote healing of tendons,

Seemed to help alot, not 100% but i am back playing football

Hey fluff_daddy, I have articular cartilage damage of the medial femoral condyle, the PRP injections, apparently I'm too old for the operations (over 30 apparently is too old). Where did you get the injections done? Were they expensive/covered by insurance? My damage is quite minor in that I can do most things but just non-impact stuff like running. Thanks!
