    I got mortgage approved 2 months ago,put offer on a house and still waiting on contracts.turns out d vendor has problems with title deeds and map folio and thats not gonna be sorted out any time soon.today we found really nice house newly build for exactly d same price!my question is do we need to reaply for mortgage or can we just change d address and have new valuation done?hope to get a reply:-)

    You will just have to contact the mortgage adviser in your bank that you dealt with and advise them that you now want the mortgage for a different house. They will just get the new house details from you and change the address in your application and resend this to the mortage underwritters and you should have word back in 24-48 hours and a new letter of offer in the post in a few days....presuming nothing is wrong with the new house that they see and you are applying for the same or a very similar amount. You won't have to do all the paperwork again - it just involves a phone call or a quick visit to your bank/mortgage aviser. Hope that helps and good luck wiith the house!!
