And now thinking of throwing in an end of season race after Lost Sheep and doing it just for fun.

    Lough Cutra OLY
    IM Frankfurt
    Newry sprint
    DCT
    Belfast OLY

Likely a load of other run and possible bike racing thrown in.....heaven forbid perhaps even a "messing" race for something different.

    Lough Cutra OLY May 25
    Wicklow Aquathon I June 11
Hook or by Crook Sprint June 21

    Galway Aquathon July 19

Tri the Hook Sprint Aug 16
Lough Dan 5k or 10k OW Aug 23
    Lost Sheep Half Aug 30

Its too easy to enter races! Some of the above will be skipped depending on work priorities, and I'll have to get a couple more OW races if I want to qualify for the Liffey Swim. Bring it on!:D

Jesus Kurt. Did you develop a twitch when pressing enter on the TI calendar?

I've been training for Challenge Roth all year & now that it's over I'm hoping to do some National Series races before the season is over.
    Looking at doing some of the following;

Tri The Hook or The Edge Sports Blackwater
    The Lost Sheep
    Belfast Titanic
    Pulse Port

Tri The Hook and The Edge Sports Blackwater are both on the same day & both are roughly the same distance to travel from Dublin.

I'm just wondering which would be the best race to do?

Based on past years, Tri the Hook has curtailed its swim dependant on back-of-pack ability (good if you're a bad swimmer I guess...). The bike route is a nice course, but on bad surfaces in a lot of areas. Good run course on country backroads. Pretty well organised race.

    (Never done Blackwater)

Thanks for that. That's interesting about the swim because I was leaning towards Blackwater as sea swims generally benefit the strong swimmers & I'm not one of them.

I suppose with regard to NS points, they'll both be about the same as they're both regional championship races.
