Boardie Price on these amps?

    Hi John & crew,

    can you tell me what would the boardie price on either the Yamaha RXV 675, or the Denon AVRX 2000?
    And your thoughts on the 2 if you guys have demoed them please....

    they are both cracking receivers - I always like the Denon sound as its great for music but the RXV675 is a really classic receiver and it would probably get my vote, in the end it would probably just come down to the sheer reliability of Yamaha in general - they are bullet proof! - honestly you can't go wrong with either of them but I do think that the Yamaha is worth the extra few quid.

    In terms of specs they are both very similar - unfortunately neither of them has wifi included but if you add some of the TPlink internet over mains dongles then they work great ( and the TPLinks are as cheap as chips!)

    On the pricing - they are alredy at rock bottom pricing - the AVRX2000 is reduced to £249.95 ( half its original price (where What Hifi gave it 5 stars!)) and the Yamaha RXV675 is just £299.95 - both pretty amazing prices and their replacements will be priced very significantly higher...
