Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys

My better half is an avid reader, she'd read just about anything. I'm wondering if there is an online book club or something that i could subscribe her to, where critically acclaimed books would be sent to her every month? I've tried easons, waterstones, amazon, with no luck.

I have bought her first editions of some of her favourite books, where money allows as they can be really expensive.

Or am i best off starting off by getting her a selection of the Penguin Classics, to start off her collecting that library?

    Thanks for the help

bookriot.com is great. They do a quarterly box but with shipping, it works out kinda expensive. They also have a section called book fetish where they post fun book related stuff that your girlfriend might love..I know I do!

Not what you asked about but as far as presents for book worms go Out of Print are good for little things. They do t-shirts, bags and other things based on classic books.
