Can anyone recommend a reliable buy/sell type site? esp looking for sellers in Galway.
I use both the Donedeal app and the Adverts.ie app regularly for both buying and selling. Both are reliable and pretty straight forward to use. Just make sure to be sensible in your dealings with people, especially buying things which may be stolen and/or having people come to your house etc
I don't know which one is busier/has more users, I usually put the ad on both for more coverage :-)

Anyone know where I would get a book stand, preferably wooden, although anything will do? I'm looking for something functional, it doesn't have to be ornate.

Looking to get a pc case that will fit extended atx motherboard.

I was hoping a i could buy local and avoid the shipping costs. I checked currys, the repair shop by the docks, no luck. Not looking for anything flashy.

Might be a specialist thing you won't find stocked locally. Looking at PC World it seems all the E-ATX cases aren't available for collection. You're probably better off buying online from amazon, scan or overclockers.

The SvP curiosity shop normally has gear like that, reminding me I need to pick one up too

I honestly didn't think this would be available in Galway but Home Store + More have it in cream, powder and spray versions! All in stock in Galway. If you are looking at their website search under Cleaning and Detergents as it didn't come up when I searched on the name.

Brilliant thanks, I wouldn't mind I was in there about a week ago and never thought to check

I am looking for a surveyor/engineer to do a snag list on a new build. Any recommendations based on prior experience would be very welcome. Thanks.

Smyth’s toys or Woodies (they have a party section). Also try Euro shop and Dealz.

Um. Is that a lightbulb or a toy for the bedroom? :pac:

There's a few places out in Ballybane that might be worth giving a call. Peter Curran Electric or Flaherty Market. They might be able to tell you where to try if they don't have it.

The small electrical shop in woodquay has a good selection of wierd out of date bulbs. Was the only place I could find bulbs for an old bathroom vanity mirror so have a look in there

Anybody know if there's a lidl that still has the cordless jigsaw from last Thursdays offers? Only spotted it now so not sure there'll be any left.

    [link dead now]

That link isn't working for me but, I was in Lidl in Oranmore this morning and they had a jigsaw there which I think is the one you are talking about
