I'm intrigued. Who were these mods?
Well, I was one, the others dropped out once the crisis were over; they were mods of other forums who were available on the night.

The three of us and one of the (then) admins were on the go until about 5 in the morning calming hysterical students, merging about 12-15 new threads a minute (most of the posters had joined that night just to vent), nuking posts threatening to find said superintendant and bomb his house, banning re-regs who were determined to have their say on the subject of bombing his house, etc.

It was hectic to say the least!

Would I ever tell tales about you knowing you could tell back twice as many about me? :pac:

who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to make 17 year olds study 8 poets
You really only have to study five.

And what would you consider the minimum age for studying poetry? :pac:

I'd say the mods are relieved we all got the right papers today :P

Unlikely enough for lightning to strike twice though.

Hello friends....I've come to the conclusion that the late Seamus Heaney is somewhere...silently masturbating with a large grin on his face at the prospect of many falling into the "let's only study heaney trap",so I shall not be cramming for him tomorrow.
On the other hand,The absolute head case that is Emily Dickinson seems a good bet.
    Btw,Chris Beniot was framed.

I think it would be fun to watch, if Heaney appeared as the unseen poet and there was Bishop instead of Dickinson :o

As long as Larkin is still there I'm graaaaand

I think that's exactly what's going to happen. I LOVE Dickinson to bits but I have a terrible feeling she wont be there. I spent my evening cramming yeats and have decent knowledge of Dickinson and Larkin too and sadly, Heaney aswell! Hopefully I'll be okay and if I'm not Plath would have to be among the remaining 4 and I'd be happy winging her tbh :pac:

Nah, CuLT / Ross. Lol, I never saw anyone press the "mod X" button as fast or with such relief when he got responses to his frantic SOS! :D

Okay, now that everyone's made it obvious...

I actually picture him as a member of Healy-Rae dynasty, not Wallace.

You have no idea how many Kerry people are even more allergic to the Healy-Rae's than the rest of the country!

The reason they keep getting in is because they at least realise the county exists; as far as most political parties seem to be concerned it's "somewhere in the south-west and they play football!"

Wouldn't be surprised if Plath or Bishop was on  Mahon is a contender as he was poorly answered last year. As long as Larkin is there I'm happy! Our class never covered the major contenders like Yeats and Dickinson

Being next to Cork is their greatest achievement.
