Ok I have a question, my writing is rather small, average of 14-16 words per line-
For Macbeth, a majority of my A1 essays are 3.25 pages long - would it look bad in the exam if my answer was only this long? I'm sure if written in large writing it would be longer but I'm not going to go and try alter my writing today :pac:

My poetry answers are usually the same length and comparative generally is about 4.5
    Is that ok.....? :o

I generally get 12-14 per line and average 3 for Macbeth, 2.5 for poetry and 4 for Comparitive. I used to write as much as people with normal size eg 4 for Macbeth, but my teacher said there was no need and I'm better off having concise answers with only enough detail to answer the question, anything more is waffle. She also said examiners don't care how long an essay is, as long as it's not ridiculously short ie 1 page long

    Ah ah ah
I mean it could go well if the questions go my way but still

Fcuk you english p2, fcuk you

That's also me! No worries, we can bullsh*t our way through it

Thanks! Disappointed I couldn't use it for myself last year :P

Depends the questions can be really horrible for it :/

Yeah you'll be fine. As always quality > quantity but the examiner can tell if you've written appropriately on the size of your writing. Sure if someone fit 7-8 words per line then the essay you wrote would suddenly be 6-7 pages but it's still the same essay!

Ok brilliant XD timing is always such an issue for me because I write the normal amount of pages and it makes being concise so much harder :pac:

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem :pac:

    I'm so heartbroken.
Everything I wanted came up, but I buckled under the pressure and got overwhelmed and forgot everything for GVV, and wrote a rambling piece of ****e for Macbeth :(

I hear ya! Spent so much time trine to remember the comparative I only had enough time to discuss two poems in my answer :(

If you fail English can you still go to college or is it like maths and you have to repeat?? :(

Depends on the college. Some colleges only need a pass in Irish or English.
