The John Brennan book for maths is the best, all exam questions for the past few years and solutions side by side. It has served me well thus far!

It remains to be seen how well it has served you ;)

As long as there's not some hulking behemoth of an amortisation question on paper 1 tomorrow I'll be happy.

Emily Elizabeth Dickinson (December 10, 1830 – May 15, 1886) was an American poet. Born in Amherst, Massachusetts, to a successful family with strong community ties, she lived a mostly introverted and reclusive life. After she studied at the Amherst Academy for seven years in her youth, she spent a short time at Mount Holyoke Female Seminary before returning to her family's house in Amherst. Thought of as an eccentric by the locals, she became known for her penchant for white clothing and her reluctance to greet guests or, later in life, even leave her room. Most of her friendships were therefore carried out by correspondence.

I AM THIS WOMAN'S REINCARNATION! :pac:

Although there are interpretations that this was the reason behind her reclusive lifestyle..

Since the falling sickness, as epilepsy used to be known, had shaming associations with "hysteria", masturbation, syphilis and impairment of the intellect leading to "epileptic insanity", it was unnameable, particularly when it struck a woman.

The alternative: Put English Paper 2 and Maths paper 1 on the same day.
    The outcome: Mass suicide.

If they changed it to a different subject, other people will complain.

If they did just one paper a day and dragged it out over a month, most students will complain.

Randy, that took me like 5 mins to post cos you moved it and I couldn't find it :p

The alternative: Put maths papers on a day with less common subjects..

Like what? Every subject is fairly common.

Only 3 in my exam centre are doing Geo.

Geography is a more intense exam than English Paper 2 and even the course is longer, if they put maths paper 1 on the same day as, say, technology, it would be far more manageable, less people would be affected and people would perform better in their maths exam.

Geography really is a pile of shít. Once tomorrow's over I'll be delighted.

I know what you're saying, I'd be pretty pissed if business or something was tomorrow morning.
    Because:
    1) Can't cram in the morning.
    2) You'd be wrecked for maths.

So, Geography on the same day as English paper 2?

The worst part is that I essentially can't study maths tonight...

And the results would be later, and that would cause havoc with an already very tight schedule for college entry.

    I like f**king with your head! :p

So in other words "it doesn't matter if other people are pressured once it's not me!"? :p:D

That's essentially the predicament here

The point is it's not gonna be changed so you can only study your best tonight lads

Thats exactly it! :D Naa what I meant was it would be better if a subject that wasn't as intensive as geography was put on the same day
