Firefox has crashed, Chrome has crashed, Internet Explorer is, well Internet Explorer, all that is left is Opera.
I wonder if this is a sign to study?

    Just saw this:
Candidates may not turn on their calculators until the examination begins.
    http://www.examinations.ie/candidates/S93_05_Use_of_Calculators_in_the_Certificate_Examinations_ev.pdf

What's the logic behind that? :p

Yeah they're sound but my browsers always crash so I had to install four different ones. :P

I love windows eight though, even though most hate it. :pac:

Calculators must be silent and must not require the use of mains electricity supply.

Were these made in the 50s or something? :pac:

    2005 :p

'Tis awfully annoying when you're trying to do your Leaving Cert and the fella beside ya is walking around looking for a power socket for his calculator

I'm sure that's just a 'Just in case someone tries to' rule. But the other one?

Agreed, it's a lot easier to use. Though, in the beginning I could never find anything.

It would obviously give you a head start! We all know that millisecond it takes to turn on your calculator is vital in order to get your paper done on time! :pac:

I've heard you are also not allowed to touch your pen before the exam starts.

    I'd say so.

And out of 60,000 students, there would probably be one whose own calculator had gone bust the night before, and arrived in with his dad's ancient one from his office which plugs in and whirs and clicks. And if the rule wasn't there ...
