I heard chewing gum and sticky sweets really help get over the initial pain of braces ;)

Enjoy it while exam season is still here because afterwards you have no excuse :P

    Yep :(

Anyway, I'm off! Good luck tomorrow everyone :P

That's the term I was trying to think of, not minority languages. Lord knows, no-one could accuse Russian of being a minority language!

Russian isn't non-curicular though. So you're back to square one :P

The LC Russian grade distribution is very interesting. Nobody has told them about the bell curve yet.

I'm getting braces like two days after I'm finished.

My own prognosis would suggest that I might have to get the week after LC too :(

    Ah the "leaving cert stone".

The biggest downfall of repeating is that you multiply it by 2 :P

Oh right, isn't it? I suspect most taking it are still native or near-native speakers though, which would explain the graph above.

Grapes are the reason I stayed awake in maths this year :pac:

Gonna have to go with Hugsie on this one, I smell food, I can feel the weight going on!

I have a friend like you, you have no idea how much I want to kick him when he finishes a night out with a load of stuff from the chipper, then gets up the next morning and has a bar or two while waiting for his full Irish to finish cooking!

That's changed but I'm still really underweight.

Ok, that's the other extreme, but hit a gym after the LC / in college, eat well, gain a bit of muscle and you'll be fine.

And would yis all feck off to bed and get some sleep! :p

I'm leaving right after the LC :(

Used to swim a lot in TY, I had a problem where every single muscle in my lower body was fecked :pac: And swimming was good cos it was the only excercise that didn't do further damage. That's when I gained the 4 or 5 kilo. Hopefully I can do it again in college.

Sleep? I have 2 years of maths to cover.

You can hardly call it a holiday if I'm taken to a different country almost every summer, against my will, and have to live an uneventful solitary life for 7 weeks :P

And the worst part, my relatives will come to see me and I might have to talk to them :(
