Yeah its alot cheaper and safer

I ride a bike and I know in Dublin a lot of people dont cause theres a fair chance itll get stolen.....Ive only heard of a friend of a friends bike being stolen...

Accomadation is easier to come by/cheaper (ALOT CHEAPER)

Its real friendly and lovely atmosphere

The weather is horrible tho :P

Apparently Dublin gets waaaaaaay better weather :D

What do you want to study

    Gonna stay in Corrib?

NUIG is nice, I've been there twice for an Applied Maths quiz :pac:.

I live by the coast in Mayo, I'm used to crappy weather :pac:

Well medicine is my first choice but I don't see myself getting that, Mathematical science is what I'm hoping for :)

I didn't apply for student accommodation in time (I'm really bad with dates, it's a miracle I got my CAO form in on time) so I probably won't be in Corrib, I have no idea what I'm going to do. :P

Wouldn't it be a shame if someone gave him an accidental kick on the ankle and broke the mobile router!

I don't understand the whole router thing :p

Why doesn't he just get internet on his phone?

I don't get how people even have the balls to cheat, whenever I attempted cheating in say a class test I would be so paranoid I could hardly read the questions on the page in front of me :pac: If I did in the LC I would probably be shaking for the 3 hours

The only way I've really cheated is handing up a page I did before the exam and even that I was scared to do..and the whole class was doing it! If he tells us the question and expects me to write 4 A4 pages in 90 mins, I have no other option :p

Fingal area and I'm learning :pac:
    Ah, I'm safe enough! :D

    Ah feck..

Nah, I'm not in Fingal, just beside it.

    :D

I thought Fingal was in Donegal until I googled.. But then again, once I thought Westport was a county and that Athlone was up North.
    Obviously I'm great at Geography!

    Wow.....maths

Like I know medicine is demanding......but to do a course solely dedicated maths......well you have my sympathy

Id apply for corrib anyways....theres loads of people who wouldve applied for NUIG and not have gotten/Corrib but got an offer in another college, UIG may not have even been theyre frst choice

Dun Aras is good for meeting other 1st years but its some treck from the college and apparetly bus times are a little dodge

Cuirt na Coirribe is about 20 mins from college and they will put you into an apartment with people your own age.....gort na coirribe is right beside cuirt but theres a fair chance you could be the only 1st year in your house, its a little cheaper than Cuirt but not....Gort/cuirt are very central locations for food shopping/getting into town. Theres a Dunnes literally across the road...take you a minutes walk and a lidil/aldi/tesco/(small)pennys 10minute walk away.

Yeah I probably should apply, just in case :) Thanks!

I honestly know nothing about all the accommodation stuff, it's hard to organise everything haha :P
