I can't apply for SUSI even though I can't afford to go to college.
Family income is just above the threshold, but they don't take overheads into account, and damn are there a lot of overheads.

Like what the heck are you even meant to do? Guess I'll have to defer a year and see if I can earn enough for a 4 year course.
    Anyone else in this boat?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 256 ✭✭Saskatchewan

Will they close this thread seeing as accounting is finished tomorrow?

We might actually have to post off topic...

No but I kind of wish I had done it.

    If I could've, I would've just done:

    Maths
    Physics
    Chemistry
    Applied Maths
    Accounting
    Economics

But noooo, I had to do stupid French and English..and..I can't even remember my other subjects any more.

Yeah, I can't apply to SUSI either.

Edit: Could be eligible for 50% student contribution, actually.

    Re edit: Nope.

    I read it before 5th year :o

If I could just do English with Macbeth(wouldn't mind Hamlet either) and Plath, that'd be lovely.

I can just imagine my Physics paper:

    "His boot pushed off
And the bicycle ticked, ticked, ticked."

Using the tempo of last three words, calculate the angular velocity and radius of the bicycle wheel. Refer to Seamus Heaney's use of onomatopoeia in your answer.

They're attack is amazing though, I'm gonna put money on the rest of the matches, some are easy to predict but you wouldn't know really especially after Costa Rica beat Uruguay :p
