So to pass Ag overall I need to get 40% in the written paper? I thought it was only 15% HAHAHA OOPS

Well, you got 40% in your project as well if you really did get 10% of the 25%.

    40 + 40 = 80 divide by two = 40% so yes, 40% in your paper :P

EDIT: just realised the maths above doesn't actually work for what you asked, but 40% is still the right answer :pac: :p

Not everyone has to do the oral do they? In our school 3 out of a class of 15 had to do it and everyone else was judged on how well the selected did

The interview and oral are the same, different schools probably call them different names! Yeah, a selection of about ~20% of the class are interviewed by an external examiner. However the grades are decided by the teacher. They give the list to the examiner and they select from the class. If the people do well the class is all brought up, if they do bad, the whole class is brought down from the marks the teacher gave. You could do a perfect interview and get 100 marks and sone eejit gets picked and drags the whole class down, and your marks are then brought down by the amount they were brought down.

Can your teacher say how much you got?

Ag Science and Economics are horribly out-dated subjects. I think they haven't changed since the 1960's.

Yep, however most don't as they aren't sure if the class was brought up or down. A teacher could say you got 90 marks but the examiner could bring you do to 80 marks without even thinking!

The ag science syllabus is 4 pages long, there's no definite set of experiments, and most of the questions on the paper are not in any books....

Some poor examiner will be reading through my paper and halfway through my answer will be a sentence saying "grapes are my favourite fruit" or something :pac:

People were saying it's an anti-climax when you actually finish, but I thought it lived up to expectation. Spent the evening after Chemistry with a bunch of classmates in a park, playing football and drinking caaaaans.

Nursing a bit of a hangover, but summer was worth the wait.
Depends, it can be for some because they're all hyped up and then just *flop*.

This weather is ideal for those finished actually, will tempt them out in the air and off the couch, best thing they could be at.
Un-followed ALL of the 'before and after_____' threads.
They will just ruin my summer if I look at them!
    Such a good idea!

What are you meant to do when the exams are over? I've walked the dog, watched the telly, read a bit, played some FIFA, texted some friends, go on here (obviously ) and drank about 3 cups of tea, and I'm bored at twenty to four. What on earth am I meant to do for 3 months!?

You've been managing to talk to Dan for long enough, and it don't get more farmer than that! Even Saskatch isn't in his league!
I just imagine the student and examiner talking about "tae" for 35 minutes
Treatment of Agricultural Effluent? Well, it could come up I suppose, but it would only be a short question.
