Does it matter if you do ****e in your lc but you still get into your course? Like I want 400 points but if I get 300 I can still do the course in the same university as if I got 400 points? Isn't the lc about getting into your preferred course and not about the points?

Well yes.......theres a threshold to get your points based on the no. of places available and the no. of applications

Like if you get 300 points and your course is 295 points your in that course. If you get 300 points but your course is 305 points unfortuantely you didnt get it. For my CAO my umber 1 preferannce was the course which required the least amount of points than any of the other courses listed on my cao. It all comes down to how many points your course is which you wont know until the day of course offers (the monday after the results are released) but you can use the previous points from last year as a rough guide of what they may be this year. However there are many courses which jump high in points or drop to much lower pints from year to year.

If the points needed for your course dropped you mean? Then it doesn't matter at all, you'll still get in. If you get asked when going for a job or anything about your leaving cert results, then it might matter... But from what I've heard your leaving cert means fúck all once you've got a degree.

I have a feeling in my jimbles (Testicles) that the marking scheme will go super easy on us this year because bio was a pretty controversial paper this year and I'm yet to meet a single person who said "it wasn't to bad" or "it was easy"

It wasn't too bad, it was a fu**king disaster

My 2 younger brothers do incredible in school - I'm the let down
My 15 YO brother could of done that paper. He doesn't even study he reads the book and nows 90% of it:(
