Not in everything. In college 38% is a fail unless your riding your lecturer (it happens I know one person doing it) but in the Leaving Cert they allow a 2% ''discrepancy'' because.. their sound.

can I just post a random warning here? Don't forgot to check what the entry requirements of your course are! I know it seems obvious but I thought I was really pedantic about checking mine and I only found out two weeks ago that I need a certain grade in maths for 2 of my courses and I was planning on completely ignoring the subject :o you don't want to be caught out in August!

I'm stuck doing pass French even though I don't need it, and I chose it over history which I would actually love to do. :(

I found out in April last year that I could've actually claimed an exemption from Irish due to being born outside the RoI. I had the oral done by that stage though so I couldn't tell my principal to stuff it :(

The sad thing is in History you have to abbreviate and carve up words to actually get anything written. It's just contrary to decent writing :(

You know we had the option of Biology at the same time as History? And I plan to do a course with a lot of Biology? I've had nights out with less regret than this infernal subject choice :(

mine must be pretty straight forward..........

Also, if anyone finds these helpful - podcasts or something from people at the Institute of Education with their advice/predictions. Decent enough, i guess though they don't have every subject.

I don't even need irish for any of my courses  I'm tempted to walk into my irish and exam and just write "is mhaith liom caca milis" and leave
