    HL Maths is graaaaandd.

I think the course is too long though, we didn't finish like 25% of it.

HL Maths isn't hard, just stupid in my opinion. The project maths course has apparently been a failure overall with teachers not covering the course according to syllabus guidelines. We watched a video on the project maths websitee about how Trigonometry should be taught. They had triangles on the desk and went outside with cliometers and everything. we asked our Maths teacher why we weren't doing this and he said we simply don't have the time....

Things like Sequences and Series and Complex No's have no real world application to be honest. The Maths course has lost a lot of credibility internationally especially amongst Science and Engineering bodies.

The maths papers are being set by a new guy, who set the paper for the first time last year that is why there's such a significant difference between 2013 and 2012 exam! :)

HL Gaeilge people, are you studying the texts that have already come up in the last two years? How unlikely is it for the Sec to repeat already seeing that it is a new course? :(

Does anyone have any day with an exam in the afternoon but nothing in the morning? The morning before English P2 last year was the most anxious 4 hours of my life. :(

Yep, English P2, Chemistry and Technology.

I'm fairly happy I've a few hours beforehand tbh.

    Sorry :(

You can make as much fun as you want next year when if when I repeat.

Steve still thinks I'm a repeat student this year so he'll think I'm repeating for the second time next year :pac:

I'm leaving them tbh I don't think it's very likely for them to repeat seeing as the new course only began in 2012.. Maybe they will next year but I doubt this year

I just had a horrible epiphany. I've spent all year learning essays for Geography but they are actually only worth 52% of the exam........

Yeh it's clear that it's easy for you! It took you 3 hours to study financial maths from scratch without a teacher. I've been doing it for a year now and it still confuses me :o

English P2, Maths P1, Accounting and Chemistry. I see it as a blessing to be honest, for two reasons. I intend to cram all morning beforehand and I also don't properly wake up until midday! :p

But if 48% is for the rest of geography won't you get 50 points from all of that? Or am I having a brain fart? :P

You're rounding them both up at the moment. When you add them together, it won't be rounded up twice and the extra 5 you're getting will be removed.

If you get what I'm trying to say haha?
