you'll be rivalling hotmale with your macbeth love soon :P

Well in fairness I'm trying to beat the odds, hopefully if I have 50 learned, I'll remember 30 in the exam, as opposed to learning 30 and remembering like 10 :pac:

Yeats is a patronising d1ckhead....such an effort to study him.
Would I be covered with Dickinson and Heaney?

Don't do Heaney, there'll be examiners all over the country inundated with Heaney essays if he comes up, how many times do you think you could stick reading "I will arise and go now..

To be honest there's as many people hoping for Dickinson as there are for Heaney, both will be done to death I'd say :o

Nah, way more are going for Heaney.

About 75% of my year are just doing him, most people in my school seem to be afraid of Dickinson.... :P

    That's what I think.

Assuming that both Heaney and Dickinson come up..

Most students who did any work are planning on doing Dickinson and most people that I've heard say they were doing Heaney(in my school, not here) are doing no work at all what so ever. I'm not expecting them to write good essays.

So if it's the same trend all around the country, they'll get..

Loads of good Dickinson answers, some good Heaney answers and loads of people winging a Heaney essay. I don't think a few well written Heaney answers in there is going to make them sick of Heaney, if anything, delighted.

Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are full of people hoping for Dickinson, and most people I know are too :pac:

That said, there are more doing Heaney, but if he isn't up and she is, she'll be done to death (I'm still doing her though  )

Heaney's question could be something odd like an epitaph or a more speech-like thing in remembrance of him

I hate dickinson so much. Also all my family memebers ringing me to wish me good luck and sending cards makes me so much more nervous

Something like why you think heaney will be remembered as a great irish poet is my guess

If bishop plath mahon and either kinsella or larkin come up I will chew my exam paper infront of everyone

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,374 ✭✭✭Hotale.com

This is hilarious, watch it all.

Well. That's my Macbeth revision done hehe:P

I think I'll be relatively Ok with what I have now, I'm not looking for an A . English is probably my worst subject.

Macbeth character and his relationship with his wife.

Just Dickinson and Heaney for poetry.

And for Comparative I have GVAV.

    Thoughts? :/ Enough for a B3/C1 ?

Enough if you're lucky and have a good standard :P
You're taking quite a big risk with Macbeth and poetry
