    There is a jobs fair running in the library in Lady Lane at the moment. It started today & runs until tomorrow evening. Lots of potential employers with stands there. Would be worth a trip for anyone looking for work. Said I would start new thread incase it wasn't seen in the jobs thread.

    Likely to be 200 jobs with 199 going to Jobsbridge or some other farce like that

    Was there today, a selection of companies there recruiting for vacancies in Pharmaceutical & science, social care, IT, a few call centres, hotels and financial services. Also individual stands advertising vacancies in a variety of EU countries.

    Was down there and it felt more like a "Hey here's advice on Europe just go there for a job" fair. Which would be a terrible name. No internships down there dont know where people got that from

    I was told by a Sunlife rep, very helpful woman that yes there are vacancies but they are all being filled internally, the jobs we have available unfortunatly are being filled through jobsbridge, but we have a 90% retention rate where these people have been hired fulltime.

    So rather than complain and complain abt Jobsbridge, im going to do exactly what she said and get a foot in the door.
