    ONLY ONE MENTION!!!

**** sake lads, what are ye watching.

I think the best villains are usually ones I can sympathise with, they're not just 1 dimensional cliches (typical that I can't think of any at the moment). Pure evil rarely works I find as I'm always thinking "so, what do you actually want" eg Voldemort.

Scar in the Lion King is a very good villain and Tim Hiddleston's Loki is also good.

Ted Levine and Jame Gump in Silence of the Lambs, but also as Bosco in Heat too. He doesn't get much credit for his role I find, but he play a great villain/psycho in both those movies.

In recent years, Tom Hiddleston as Loki in the Thor movies and Avengers Assemble. Ate the scenery and stole the show in every scene he was in. Had me rooting for him even though he's supposed to be the "baddie".

    Yeh.

Unfortunately, after seeing Louise Fletcher's Oscar acceptance speech, I just cannot look at her in the same way. :pac:

    +1 for Hans Landa/Christoph Waltz.

Also Ian McKellen's Magneto is pretty bad-ass. If I was a mutant I'd totally have joined his Brotherhood of Mutants rather than the X-Men.

That's what I liked about breaking bad
First there was Crazy 8, then there was Tuco, then there was Gus, each worse than the one before, and I was thinking how can it escalate next season, who could be more dangerous than these 3? Will it be the German conglomerate, or Gus's pals from Chile? But in the end it was Walter.

Joe Pesci in Casino. Don't think he has been mentioned yet in that film.

    The scene with the vice

Kevin Spacey has been at least two great villians in 2 great movies Kaiser Soze and the serial killer in Se7en (John Doe) and as Frank Underwood in House of Cards hes 1 evil, manipulating bugger

Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal lector is my favourite bad guy, so calm and cool.

Few from the wire, marlo and Omar standing out

For me, a great baddie has a code or a certain ethic to their nastyness

Ah I disagree, I find Hopkins perfect for the role, when I read the books, I pictured Hopkins as lector, tailor made for the role.

Mads seems I dunno, too young
