Factory holidays waterford

    Do all the factories in town close at the same time late july to mid august? If you need other time off during the year can you get it? Thanks for any info.

    From working in factories over the years I think factory holidays are the first 2 weeks in August. Some places do the last week in July, first week in August, but I think they're the exception.

    Whether you'll get any holidays outside this time is a matter for the particular factory. Some factories open with a skeleton crew over the shut-down in which case you might be able to trade working the shut-down for time off at another stage but it just depends on the factory.

    Depends on the factory, my fiance works in one and it doesn't shut down for those dates.

    No all the factories dont close very few if any shut down anymore,and of course you can get time off during the year.
