    Saying it was from eircom. Something about a blockage on my internet line is this a scam?

    I would think so, Eircom usually ring from an irish or blocked number

    I can confirm this call would not have been from eircom. Some of these calls have been happening a while now and the callers are claiming to be from a number of different companies. Please do not oblige these callers and simply hang up if they call again. [/font]    [font=Times New Roman","serif]Investigations in to this are ongoing however eircom do have a malicious calls bureau to discuss this further. You can contact the malicious calls bureau on free phone 1800689689
