    "Hi all. This is just a quick update on a multi-sporting event that was on the 26th April 2014.

    Glenn "The Daddy" Ross was the event organiser.

    IRISH STRENGTH EXPO 2014 @ Bangor North Down Borough
    – Post Event Press Release -

    This event has laid the groundwork for future Multi Disciplinary Strength Sports Conventions in Ireland when the show entertained over 300 spectators over the 1 day expo in its first year which was held at Bangor's Olympic Aurora Sports Complex, County Down. Northern Ireland.

    This was the first time such an event has been held in Ireland, north or south bringing the best athletes within Ireland together under one roof. It also brought in top international athletes such as Dariusz Mirowski who was flown in from Poland, who Bench Pressed 282.5kg Raw under GPC rules.

    Now that it is all over for the 60+ athletes and 300+ fans, the Irish Strength Association would like to thank their own team for making this huge event possible. Thanks to our guest referee and strength sports legend Terry Hollands.

    Secondly, a big thank you to all our sponsors: North Down Borough Council, Belfast Audi, FH Sports, Hirestore, Curran, Phil P Richards Performance, Virgin Active, World Ultimate Strongest Team and our main sponsor JP Corry, this would not have happened without you.
